Overview
The 2026 Hyundai Tucson Plug-In Hybrid will be an all-new, redesigned model based on the fifth generation of the popular compact SUV. It will feature a fresh, modern look both inside and out, with a new grille design, updated headlights and taillights, and a slightly boxier shape with a more upright rear end. Inside, the 2026 Tucson will have a cleaner center stack with a larger standard infotainment screen, along with features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, navigation, wireless charging, and multiple USB ports. The plug-in hybrid powertrain will likely carry over from the 2025 model, which combines a 1.6L turbocharged engine, an electric motor, and a 13.8-kWh battery pack for an EPA-estimated 33 miles of all-electric range.
The redesigned 2026 Tucson Plug-In Hybrid will compete in the compact SUV segment against vehicles like the Toyota RAV4 Prime, Ford Escape PHEV, and Kia Sportage Plug-In Hybrid.
